The Cabinet Office today announced there are a number of publications and websites that give the wrong dates for Emancipation Day and Somers Day 2016.
The Annual Cup Match Holiday is observed the Thursday and Friday before the first Monday in August.
Therefore Cup Match 2016 will be observed on Thursday July 28th and Friday July 29th, 2016.
Wrong information being announced must be the new thing for 2016 as the only local printing press was forced to apologize to the Bermuda Football Association and the public for printing the wrong times for the Shield and Friendship Finals on New Years Day after the correct times was sent to all media twice.
