Champion of Champions as well as Bermuda Cricket Board Premier and First Division matches took center stage this past weekend and as Islandstats.com has been doing for a number of years, we are bringing you a look at the top performers of the weekend.
In the batting department St. David’s Cricket Club captain OJ Pitcher was the top scorer for the weekend with a knock of 100 not out against the Somerset Cricket Club, while his teammate Shea Pitcher in the same game had second best knock scoring 74 and Ryan Shepard from Willow Cuts scored 50 before retiring against Flatt’s Victoria in their Premier Division match.
With figures of 8.5-2-33-5 saw Dean Stephen from Willow Cuts returned the best figures of week in his teams Premier Division win over Flatt’s Victoria, Douglas from Cleveland County was the weeks second top bowler returning figures of 6.3-1-16-4 in his teams Champion of Champions win over Willow Cuts and with figures of 6.3-0-33-4 it saw Darrin Anglin from PHC have the third best figures of the week in their First Division match against the Bermuda Under 18 National Team.
