Weekend Top Batting & Bowling Performers

Western County as well as Bermuda Cricket Board Premier and First Division matches took center stage this past weekend and as Islandstats.com has been doing for a number of years, we are bringing you a look at the top performers of the weekend. Also see Derrick Brangman’s Hat-trick in the Video.

In the batting department Temiko Wilson from Western Stars was the top scorer for the weekend with a knock of 122, in his teams First Division win over the St. George’s Cricket Club, while Rudell Pitcher from St. David’s Cricket Club had second best knock scoring 97 against the Southampton Rangers and Shannon Raynor scored 63 for the Southampton Rangers against the St. David’s Cricket Club.

With figures of 10-1-40-8 saw Derrick Brangman from the Southampton Rangers returned the best figures of week in his teams Premier Division win over St. David’s Cricket Club, Demiko James from Warwick Workmen’s Club was the weeks second top bowler returning figures of 10-2-19-4 in their match against Somerset Bridge Recreation Club. Somerset Bridge batted first and were bowled out for 152, in reply Warwick Workmen’s Club fell short of their target by 32 runs when they were bowled out for 120, www.islandstats.com last night reported that Somerset Bridge had won by 21 runs, but later in the night posted the correct score, we ask you to remember what was reported on both radio an in print and ask yourself -Where Did That Score Come From.
