Kent County Cricket Club 2nd XI defeated Delray Rawlins and his Sussex 2nd XI by 4 wickets on the D/L method.
Kent won toss and decided to field, Sussex 2nd XI scored 269/7 in their allotted 50 overs, Rawlins batting at number 5 scored 12 runs off 25 deliveries. Rawlins had one boundary four in his 31 minute stay at the wicket.
In reply Kent were 204/6 after 34 overs, when rain halted play, with no further action umpires Neil Bainton and Matt Johnson went to the D/L method, with Kent needing to be on 197, they were ruled the winners. Rawlins returned bowling figures of 3-0-31-0.
The teams meet again tomorrow for the 3 day Championship encounter.
