Kamau Leverock and his Newport Cricket Club Wales 1st XI teammates suffered a 3 wicket defeat against Port Talbot Town Cricket Club - 1st XI in their South Wales Premier Division One 1st XI League match.
Newport won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 281/4 in their allotted 50 overs, Leverock batting at number six scored 42 runs not out off 25 deliveries, hitting 5 fours and 1 six.
In reply Port Talbot Town scored 283/7 in 49.3 overs, Leverock returned figures of 10-0-50-2, he claimed the wickets of Sean Griffiths who scored 43 and Stuart Phelps who scored 13.
