The Bermuda Cricket Board Premier and First Division matches took center stage this past weekend and as Islandstats.com has been doing for a number of years, we are bringing you a look at the top performers of the weekend.
In the batting department Joshua Gilbert from the Somerset Cricket Club had the best knock of the weekend scoring 94 against St. David’s Cricket Club in their Premier Division match, while Chris Douglas scored 75 for Devonshire Recreation Club against PHC and Jamaine Salaam from Somerset Bridge scored 48 in the game against Warwick Workmen’s Club.
Makai Young from Western Stars returned best figures of 8-0-33-8, while figures of 6.2-1-19-5 saw Justin Donawa representing Somerset Cricket Club record the second best figures of the weekend. Cameron Jeffers from Warwick Workmen’s Club had the third best figures for the weekend bowling 10-2-22-4.
