At the Wellington Oval, visiting Somerset Bridge batted first and was restricted to 108/8 in their allotted 20 overs, Donnie Charles was the top scorer with 52. Nzari Paynter was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 3-0-11-3, while Caleb Jean-Pierre bowled 4-0-13-3. In reply St. George’s Cricket Club scored 109/2, Charles Marshall III and Macai Simmons shared a 84 run 3rd wicket partnership steer the home team to the win. Simmons scored 43 not out, while Marshall scored 38 not out.

Western Stars Win by 89 Runs

Young batting for Western Stars
At the St. John’s Field, PHC won the toss and sent Western Stars to bat, they scored 183/1 in their allotted 20 overs, Temiko Wilson and Makai Young shared a 107 opening wicket partnership. Wilson scored 65 not out, while Young scored 64, Brian Hall added 36 not out. Jahkari Hollis was the only bowler for PHC to claim a wicket returning figures of 4-0-37-1. In reply PHC were restricted to 94/9 in their allotted 20 overs, Charles Trott was the top scorer with 28. Swayne Campbell was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 4-0-20-4, Seth Campbell bowled 4-0-20-2 and Naquan Smith had figures of 4-0-27-2.

At the Sea Breeze Oval, Cleveland County batted first and were restricted to 90/8 in their allotted 20 overs, an opening wicket partnership of 48 between Treadwell Gibbons and Jason Anderson had Cleveland looking for a big score, but no other batsman reached double figures. Anderson was the top scorer with 29, while Gibbons scored 28. Kyle Hodsoll’s early season form continued as he led the Bailey’s Bay bowling attack with figures of 4-1-18-3. In reply Bailey’s Bay scored 92/6, Tre Manders was the top scorer with 23 before he was run out by the bowler Gibbons. Justin Talbot was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 2-0-8-2.

Irving Romaine scored 43 off 24 deliveries helping Bailey’s Bay reach a target of 159/5 in their allotted 20 overs against the Somerset Cricket Club. Sinclair Smith added 38 and Ricky Hoyte added 35, Joshua Gilbert was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 3-0-13-2. In reply the Somerset Cricket Club came up 9 runs short of their target scoring 150/5, Jahnoi Bean scored 64 off 59 deliveries hitting 8 fours and 2 sixes in his inning, Pierre Smith added 36 and Jacobi Robinson scored 28. Romaine returned figures of 3-0-14-2 to lead the Bailey’s Bay bowling attack to victory.
