Bermuda Feeling Canada's Pain

IslandStats.com
The Executive Committee of the Bermuda Cricket Board will be feeling the pain of Canada’s third loss in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 2 Tournament, which got underway in Windhoek, Namibia, on Saturday January 17th.

Namibia ensured their promotion from Division Two with a big win over Canada and in the process relegated Canada to Division Three.

The top two teams Qualifying to play in the ICC Intercontinental Cup 2015-17 and Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Championship/Division One.

If Canada would have been successful and advanced to Division One, then Bermuda could have been in with a better chance of Qualifying to other ICC events.

Bermuda is expected to release a Training Squad for the upcoming ICC Americas Twenty20 World Cup Qualifying Tournament scheduled for May/June 2015.

Bermuda will be up against Canada, United States of America and the ICC Americas Division Two Winners Suriname.

Now that Canada have been relegated to the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 3 Bermuda now must finish in the two in any ICC Americas Division One Tournament to advance.
