The Bermuda Cricket Board and Logic Communications announced George O’Brien Jr. from the St. David’s Cricket Club as the Logic Premier Player of the Week, while Ellsworth Bean from PHC was named the Logic First Division Player of the Week.
O’Brien helped lead the St. David’s Cricket Club to their second consecutive Premier Division League Title with a 81 run victory over the Southampton Rangers.
O’Brien scored 69 runs helping St. David’s Cricket Club reach a total of 185, they then bowled Southampton Rangers all out for 104, with O’Brien returning bowling figures of 6.0-2-12-3.
Although not mentioned by the Bermuda Cricket Board, it would have been a real challenge for the judges picking the Premier Division Player of the Week, with Treadwell Gibbons from Cleveland County scoring 135 not out in their relegation battle game against the St. George’s Cricket Club, he then returned bowling figures of 3.0-2-03-3.
Bean scored 53 runs before being run out helping PHC reach a total of 134, they then bowled Warwick all our for 85.
