Premier and Minister of National Security, the Hon. Michael Dunkley welcomed the 2014 Cup Match Champions, Somerset Cricket Club to the Cabinet Office.
Premier Dunkley took the opportunity to formally congratulate the team for their efforts during this year’s Annual Cup Match Classic, which resulted in a win for the Somerset Cricket Club.
The Premier was joined by his Cabinet Colleagues during the presentation.
This is the second time in the span of three years that the Somerset Cricket Club has won the coveted Cup. In 2012, the team put on an impressive performance over the span of two days which garnered them a convincing win.
In acknowledging the Somerset Cricket Club Skipper Jekon Edness and the team, Premier Dunkley presented the group with a team photo and said the young men’s stellar performance should serve as an inspiration to all of Bermuda.
