The Somerset Cricket Club have won the 2014 Annual Cup Match Classic by 8 wickets over the St. George’s Cricket Club. Needing to chase down 236, Terryn Fray scored an unbeaten Century to guide the defending Champions to victory.
Fray was named Man of the Match after scoring 121 not out, while Janeiro Tucker became the first player to win the 'Safe Hands Award' three times. Tucker won the title in its inaugural year 1998, he then won it again in 2003 and capped off a good two days after breaking the record for the most catches in Cup Match. Also contributing to the win was Tre Manders who scored his second half century of the game this time adding 55.
