Only four batsmen scored more than fifty runs in the 7 games played over the weekend, Terryn Fray from Bailey’ Bay finished in the top spot in the batting department with 89 runs. Fray’s runs came during his team’s Premier Division win over the Somerset Cricket Club, he was at the wicket for 152 minutes, facing 107 balls, hitting 10 fours and 1 six in his inning. Kyle Lightbourne was the next top scorer with a knock of 78 for PHC against Warwick Workman’s Club and Shawn Riley from Somerset Bridge scored 54 against Flatt’s Victoria.
In the bowling department, with figures of 8.3-7-04-6, Dion Stovell from Southampton Rangers led the charge against the Warwick Workmen’s Club in their Western County Cup Match, while Nelson Bascome from Flatt’s Victoria had the second best bowling figures of 5.3-0-17-5 against Somerset Bridge, this was Bascome’s second successive 5 wicket haul and Nyhrobi Carmichael’s 5.4-0-32-4 for Bailey’s Bay against the Somerset Cricket Club was the third best figures.
