Bermuda won the toss in their first Twenty20 Practice matches against the United States of America and decided to bat.
Bermuda were restricted to 93/8 in their allotted 20 overs, with opener Dion Stovell the top scorer on 48 off 46 deliveries. Stovell managed 4 fours in his inning, he shared a 30 opening partnership stand with Chris Douglas.
Four other Bermuda batsmen scored 7 runs each including Douglas, captain Janeiro Tucker, Tre Manders and Malachi Jones. Neil McGarrell was the pick of the United States of America bowlers with figures of 3-1-7-2, while Adam Sanford bowled 4-1-14-2 and Karan Ganesh bowled 4-0-20-2.
In reply the United States scored 95/2 in 16.2 overs, Fahad Babar was the top scorer with 58 not out, while Steven Taylor add 21, Stovell was the only Bermuda bowler to grab a wicket as he returned figures of 4-0-21-2.
