St. David’s Cricket Club Win by 11 Runs

Willow Cuts won the toss and sent St. David’s Cricket Club to bat at Lord’s in St. David’s. The home team was bowled all out for 166 in 46.5 overs, Sammy Robinson was the top scorer with 40, while George O'Brien Jr. was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 6.5-0-27-2. In reply Willow Cuts were bowled all out for 155 in 44 overs, Dexter Basden was their top scorer with 38, while Delyone Borden returned bowling figures of 10-1-28-6 for St. David’s Cricket Club.

Twenty-Five years ago when someone said PHC and Warwick Workmen’s were to battle at the PHC Stadium, many would have been in attendance to watch the two clubs play football, however in this First Division Cricket match, PHC came away with a 69 run victory. Batting first PHC were bowled all out for 202, Richard Todd was the top scorer with 52, while Gary Williams led the Warwick Workmen’s bowling attack with figures of 9.1-4-13-6. In reply Lionel Cann scored 33, but Warwick Workmen’s were bowled all out for 133, Cal Waldron led the PHC bowling attack with figures of 10-2-22-3.

Flatt’s Victoria Win by 108 Runs

At the Wellington Oval, Flatt’s Victoria came away with a 108 run victory, batting first Flatt’s were bowled all out for 231, Cofield Robinson was the top scorer with 61, while Herbie Bascome bowled 10-1-39-4 for the St. George’s Cricket Club. In reply Flatt’s Victoria bowled St. George’s Cricket Club all out for 123, Okera Bascome was the top scorer with 45, while Kijuan Franks led the Flatt’s Victoria bowling attack with figures of 2.4-0-15-3.

Western Stars win by 9 wickets

Social Club 101 Western Stars 104/1


At the St. John's field, Social Club batted first and were bowled all out for 101, Pierre Smith and Dennis Zuill both scored 22, while Neon Steede bowled 7-2-21-4. In reply Brian Hall scored 47 not out and Audley Campbell scored 43 not out as Western Stars scored 104/1 in 16.2 overs. Clay Darrell was the only Social Club bowler to claim a wicket with figures of 5-0-44-1.
