The Bermuda Women’s National Cricket Team concluded their preparation for the upcoming ICC Women's Championship, April 23rd - April 28rd in the Cayman Islands.

Playing their final practice match before they depart on Sunday the team went down by 5 wickets to the Warwick Workmen’s Club’s Under 17’s.

Batting first the Bermuda Women’s team scored 145/4 in their allotted 20 overs, Terry-Lynn Paynter was the top scorer with 62 from 32 deliveries. Paynter helped herself to seven-fours and four-sixes, while Rickelle Smith scored 35 from 19 balls, Smith hit three-fours and two-sixes, opener Reuna Richardson scored 21 from 23 balls. Chare Smith led the Warwick Workmen’s Club Under 17’s in the bowling department with figures of 4-0-10-2, while Benjamin James returned figures of 4-0-18-1.

In reply Warwick Workmen’s Club Under 17 opener Kyle Swan retired on 68 from 41 deliveries, he hit six-fours and two-sixes, while San’j Dill retired on 45 from 19 deliveries. Dill’s knock included five-fours and two-sixes. Warwick Workmen’s Club Under 17 passed score at 15.1 overs, however it was decided to bowl the 20 overs out.

Satyrah Robinson had bowling figures of 1-0-14-1 for the Bermuda Women’s National team, while Rachael Smith and Maryellen Jackson both took a wicket each.
