Sussex won the toss and decided to bat, they were bowled out for 147, Will Beer was the top scorer with 46, Rawlins’ unfortunate luck of innings without scoring continued when he was caught after facing 7 balls. Ian Holland was the pick of the Hampshire bowlers with figures of 14.4-5-23-5.
At the close of play Hampshire reached 112/1, Holland is not out on 54, while Oscar Soames was out for 51. Rawlins is the only wicket taker for Sussex as he finished with figures of 7-1-9-1.

Southampton Rangers batted first and was bowled out for 101, but the biggest talk of the inning was when Malachi Jones was given out off the first ball of the match caught behind and refused to leave the field, after some delay that saw the coach and club officials enter the field to encourage the player to come off did he do so and the match resumed. Ricardo Brangman was their top scorer with 38 from 19 balls that saw him hit 1 four and 5 sixes. George O’Brien was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 3.5-1-7-3.
In reply the St. David’s Cricket Club scored 102/7 after 16.5 overs, captain Chris Douglas was the top scorer with 34, Nirobi Mills was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 4-0-21-3.

Cleveland County defeated Flatt’s Victoria by 5 wickets in a drama filled day of cricket at the Sea Breeze Oval.
Flatt’s Victoria won the toss and elected to bat they were bowled out for 129, with Flatt’s Victoria in trouble at 29/3, when Kamau Leverock was out for 7, opener Reggie Baker went down suffering from chest pains as was taken to King Edward Hospital via ambulance and never returned to the field. Nelson Bascome was the top scorer with 42, while Makai Young was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 8.1-2-20-4.
In reply Leverock electrified the crowd with his pace, with the wicketkeeper and slips fielding back Leverock had youngsters Jabarri Darrell and Q'shai Darrell back in the pavilion caught behind by Regino Smith, St. John’s personnel were called back into action when a Leverock delivery hit Cleveland County player/coach Curtis Jackson in the head with the player bleeding from the injury having to leave the field. Cleveland County would eventually cross the score with Dion Stovell the top scorer with 37, Leverock was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures of 11-3-36-3.

Flatt's Victoria Eastern County Team
Eastern County Second Round Challengers Flatt’s Victoria have named their team that will take on Cup Holders Cleveland County at the Sea Breeze Oval on Saturday August 18th.
Flatt’s will be led by Cofield Robinson, they have also included veteran spinner Vernon Eve. They will be hoping Kamau Leverock’s form with the bat from last Sunday continues and they will also be looking for Nelson Bascome’s weekly wicket take form shows up as well.

Cleveland County Eastern County Second Round Team
Eastern County Cup Holders Cleveland County have made two changes to the team that defeated the defending champions Bailey’s Bay in the First Round as they prepare to battle Flatt’s Victoria on Saturday August 18th at the Sea Breeze Oval.
The team is being led by captain Steven Bremar, they have brought in player/coach Curtis Jackson and youngster Jabari Darrell who is a Colt, the pair replace Kioshi Trott and Isaiah Creighton.
