Kamau Leverock was in action for Walkerville Cricket Club on Day One of their Adelaide Turf Cricket Association - Kookaburra Sports A1 Premier Grade match against Old Scotch.

Walkerville Cricket Club won the toss and sent Old Scotch to bat at the close of play Old Scotch were 238/8 after 80 overs.

The BCB T20 Premier Division MVP is awarded to Allan Douglas Jr of St. David’s County Cricket Club.

This year the Bermuda Cricket Board are honoring a team of true legends of the game, with this year’s Special Achievement Awards, we honor the 1979 ICC Team.

The team comprises: Gladstone Brown (captain), Joe Bailey, Winston Reid, Clarence Parfitt, Lionel Thomas, Colin Blades, Barry DeCouto, John Tucker, Noel Gibbons, Clevie Wade, Winston Trott, Elvin James, Willie Weldon, and Paisley Caines.

This year’s One Communications First Division MVP goes to none other than Makai Young of Cleveland County Cricket Club.

This year’s One Communications Premier League MVP goes to none other than Dion Stovell of Southampton Rangers SC, winning the MVP award for the second year in a row and for 2 different teams (last year he was playing for St. David’s).

As we reported Vice President Nyon Steede resigned and now we have confirmation of a question earlier this week that the CEO Neil Speight resigned his position.

Leverock & Walkerville Win on Debut

Walkerville Cricket Club 180 & 101/9 St Peters Old Collegians 148

Kamau Leverock and his Walkerville teammates recorded a first inning win over the St Peters Old Collegians in their Adelaide Turf Cricket Association - Kookaburra Sports A1 Premier Grade match.

Resuming on 42/4, St Peters Old Collegians were bowled out for 148, Leverock would finish with figures of 22-4-44-4.

Leverock and his teammates would bat again and at the close of play they reached 101/9, Leverock was out without scoring.
