Bermuda’s Men and Women Bowlers began the Individual portion of the Pan American Games Bowling competition.
David Maycock and Damien Matthews both took to the Lanes for the Men's Single Qualifying First Block, while June Dill and Patrice Tucker competed in the Women's Single Qualifying First Block.
At the conclusion of the Men’s First Block, Maycock finds himself in 15th place with 1315 Pins with an Average of 219, Maycock had his best game in the 4th game with a score of 267.
Matthews is in 24th with 1234 pins with an Average of 205.7. Matthews best game came in two matches as he bowled 222 in the third and fifth games.
In the Women’s Division, Tucker ended the day in 27th place with 1082 Pins, with an Average of 180.3, Tucker’s best game came in her 3rd frame when she bowled a 227.
Dill finds herself in 32nd place with 1005 Pins at an Average of 167.5. Dill had her best frame in the 6th and final game when she bowled a 191.
