Zeke Bayt, a 27-year-old right-hander from Westerville, Ohio, averaged 244.38 Saturday to lead the Opening Qualifying Round in the PBA Lubbock Sports Shootout presented by Ebonite at South Plains Lanes. 2019 Rendezvouz Champion David Maycock also began competing in the PBA Lubbock Sports Shootout
Maycock qualified for a Second Round making the Cut finishing 37th with 1678 Total Pins at an average of 209.75 over 8 games bowled.
Maycock had a slow start with a 181 First Game, he then bowled a 211 n his Second Game, which was followed by a 227 in Game Three, he would bowl 214 in Game Four.
Game Five was a 191, before his best game which was the Sixth he bowled a 237, he followed that up with a 224, before closing out with a 193 performance.
