Bermuda’s National Men’s Bowling Team of Damien Matthews, Rickai Binns, David Maycock, Levinc Samuels, Akeem Talbot and Lamar Richardson recently spent three days of training at the world renown International Training and Research Center in Arlington Texas under the watchful eye of Team USA National Head Coach Rod Ross and his staff.

In preparations for next month’s CAC games in Barranquilla Colombia the National team spent three full days at one of the top training facilities in the world. All of the team members stated that their experience was a huge lift in their preparations for the CAC games.

Team Captain Richardson described his overall experience as unforgettable as it was his first time attending this facility, he said it was definitely the most knowledge he has ever received in one training camp.

Richardson said, “Coach Rod Ross and his staff gave each member of the team analysis on each member of the team and provided them with tools to improve as a team as well as for their individual performance.”

Teammate Matthews said, “This was undoubtedly one of the best experiences I ever had, the class sessions, stress test, mental training, lane play are just a few tools that will help them in their preparations for the CAC games and World Championships later this year in Hong Kong.”

Samuels said, “The tools that were provided was better than I anticipated as every question we asked was answered with more information than he expected and the technology used was mind blowing.”

Maycock commented, “They taught us how to increase ball speed, change hand positions and see different ball motions.”
Talbot and Binns both stated, “The technology used was very impressive. The team was also put through test to test their overall physical fitness as well.”

Over thirty countries have attended this facility and some have gone on to capture major international titles after competing training at this facility.
