Bermuda’s National Men’s Bowling team began competing in the Central American and Caribbean Bowling Confederation Championships in Guatemala.
Bermuda’s team of Lamar Richardson, Damien Matthews, Rickai Binns, David Maycock, Levinc Samuels Akeem Talbot, Steven Riley, Antoine Jones (Coach) and Calvin Basden went up against the best bowlers in the Americas.
In the Men's Singles that featured 100 bowlers, Binns finished 13th with 1269 pins, Samuels had 1257 pins good enough for 15th, while Matthews finished one spot back with 1255 pins. Finishing 22nd was Maycock with 1235 pins, while Richardson had 1157 pins which placed him 46th and Talbot finished 69th with 1087 pins.
The Bermuda team are currently in 5th place overall out of 17 countries.
