Every year we go through the same thing, time ticks away and no schedule is produced until late. We have heard just about every reason why it can’t be produced early, but Islandstats.com would like to suggest that the following timeline be used by the BFA. I know posting this story will promote phone calls, but I will say when releasing information the words - THIS IS A PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE - could be stated.
One Month after the season ends a preliminary schedule is posted without dates just weeks.
Two Months after the season ends, as long as there are no changes such as teams joining or dropping out Dates and Venues added.
This clears the scheduling committee to do everything to prepare for the Martonmere Cup matches.
In closing Islandstats.com has put together a Premier Division 2008/09 Schedule that we would like to share. This schedule shows what the first half of the One Month after the season release would look like, we have also put together the First & Women’s Division that we could share later. PLEASE NOTE - The following schedule is NOT the Bermuda Football Association Official 2008/09 Schedule.
