The Department of Youth & Sports will hold their 13th Annual Mini Cup Match Classic on July 24th at the Devonshire recreation Club.
Holders St. George’s have won the competition 9 times.
Director of Youth & Sport’s Norbert Simons said, “The Department takes great pride in this event as it has seen players go on to represent Bermuda and play Cup Match, so it’s a stepping stone for the development of players”.
“Over the years the games have seen the likes of Sheroy Fubler, Rodney Trott, Oronde Bascome, Steven Bremar, Lamar Richardson and Deunte Darrell just to name a few and now we see these players playing weekly and doing well for the local clubs”, continued Simons.
