The Richmond International Academic & Soccer Academy (RIASA) continues to attract excellent students and players with great potential.
RIASA is the Academy that saw Bermuda International and Bradford City star Nahki Wells attend.
Another player with Bermuda ties will now walk the halls which Wells walked and play on the field that Wells played, Dimitri Frias is from Bermuda and was recommended by RIASA scout Martin Dell. RIASA has added two more Semi-Professional teams to total five Semi-Professional teams, giving players development, opportunity and exposure on a year round basis.
In addition to the above teams there will be an Under 19 Developmental Squad. RIASA will field seven teams next year within its football academy structure.
Frias represented Mount St. Agnes Academy as well as the Bermuda Under 17 National Team in the Bahamas 2 years ago, he plays as a winger or striker.
The RIASA Academy will oversee five Semi-Professional squads next year in addition to a Under 19 Development Squad the pinnacle of the RIASA football pyramid will be the Bradford City Under 21 Development Squad, under the guidance of Mark Ellis, where the top RIASA students will have the opportunity to showcase their talents against English League opposition.
