Bermuda Go Down in Davis Cup Opener
Bermuda began their play in the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Americas Zone Group III event that starts in La Paz on Monday.

Going down 2 – 1 to Costa Rica.

Bermuda got off to a good start when Gavin Manders fresh off his Deloitte Open performances defeated Pablo Nunez in a three setter.

Manders won the first set 7-6, before falling 6-2 in the second set. Manders then regrouped and won the third set 6-3.

Jenson Bascome then took to the court and he fell in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 to Ignaci Roca to level the match at 1 – 1.

Manders and Bascome then took on Roca and Maurizio Feoli in the doubled and the pair went down in straight sets 6-1, 6-3.
