BNAA National Championships Round Up
The Bermuda National Athletics Association’s National Championships took place at the National Sports Center, with several athletes taking to opportunity to shine.

Dage Minors ran to victory in the Under 20 Boys 1500 Meter Run with a time of 4:12.98, while Juma Mouchette finished second clocking 4:15.73.

Sixteen year old Kyrah Scraders won the Women 1500 Meter Open Run crossing the line in a time of 4:41.23, Tamika Williams finished second clocking 4:43.20 and Quaashie Douglas finished third with a time of 5:16.10.

Kerri Furbert won the Under 20 Girls Long Jump with a top leap of 5.49m, while Keesha Miller finished second leaping 4.65m.

Bruce DeGrilla’s leap of 7.20m saw him win the Under 20 Boys Long Jump, while Allison Outerbridge won the Women’s Long Jump Open Class leaping 5.25m.

Jahnhi Perinchief leaped a Personal Best 2.00m to win the Under 17 Boys High, while Kevin Miller finished second leaping 1.80m, Chase Smith also leaped a Personal Best 2.00m on his way to winning the Under 20 Boy’s High Jump.

Akelia Richardson leaped 10.95m during the Under 20 Girls Triple Jump which saw her take the title, while Justin Donawa won the Under 20 Boy’s Triple Jump leaping 14.54m. Chase Smith finished second leaping 14.13m.

Jasmine Brunson won the Women’s Open Triple Jump with a leap of 12.31m and Allison Outerbridge finished second leaping 11.49m.
