Under 11 Team Anounced

The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the Under 11 team for the 2013 Hiscox 11&U Celebrity Cricket Festival. The Festival is designed to celebrate community based youth cricket and to raise money for the Bermuda Cricket Board National Academy.

This year, the Festival will take place on Saturday June 8th at the National Sports Centre, North Field. This event was recognized by the ICC as the Best Spirit of Cricket Initiative in 2012.

There will be free children’s entertainment during the day including face painting, tattooing, bouncy castle, sports games and slide. Lunch and free t-shirts will be provided for the first 350 to attend. This year we have some exciting raffle prizes including a fabulous $500 travel voucher courtesy of Watlington & Conyers and a two-night stay at Grotto Bay Hotel. The money raised from the raffle will go towards the National Youth Academy which provides talented young cricket players with a free comprehensive program to enable them to develop into well-rounded members of the community.
