Nicaragua’s Claudia Noguera commented on the solution they found to their reception problems over their first match.
“We were able to solve our passing problems and could execute a better offensive game,” Noguera said. “We are very happy about battling for the top place in this tournament and our chances to go to the third round.”
“We played steadier in the first set,” Bermuda’s Vikki Stevenson said. “We need to put some pieces together and work in our game.”
Nicaragua’s Coach Rene Quintana said, “We improved not only our reception, but our overall game also, I am very glad about my team and invite Bermuda to continue working.”
“We started working as a team but once again our passing fell down,” Bermuda’s coach Juanita Blee commented. “We will have some discussions overnight, to rest a little and bring it together for another match tomorrow.”
