Djair Parfitt has signed a new two year contract with West Ham United. Parfitt who has been at the West Ham Academy for the last two season, has signed confirming his move from San Jose Earthquakes Academy to West Ham.
The Bermudian born player moved off the island when he was young and has been in the US since age 7 or 8, because he is Bermudian, he can move to the UK without a problem.
Parfitt was a member of the PHC Zebras, he scored a few weeks ago for the West Hem United Under 18 team against Dale Eve and his Stoke City teammates.
“For the past two months or so, I have been playing with the Under 18s and I have also been training with the Under 21’s,” Parfitt told TopDrawerSoccer.com. “Next season, I will be a Under 17, which means a ‘first year’ in the Under 18 team.”
The United States Soccer Federation is keeping in touch while he gets his US passport.
