The Bermuda Men’s National Volleyball Team took to the courts for the 2013 USAV Open Championships in Kentucky were they competed in the Men’s Open Division.
They finished with a record of 2 wins and 5 losses.
In their first match Bermuda went down 25-17, 25-13 to Hasenet Creole, Bermuda would next take on Jew and Crew and again they would go down 25-17, 25-17.
Bermuda would pick up their first win of the Tournament after they defeated The Tropics in three sets, Bermuda won the first set 25-9, The Tropics won the second set 25-21, Bermuda won the third and final set 15-9. Bermuda would then make their overall total 2 & 2 when they defeated the Falls Slam in yet again another three setter. Fall Slams won the first set 25-20, but Bermuda would storm back to win the next two sets 25-17, 16-14.
The Honey badgers would defeat Bermuda in straight sets in their next game 25-22, 25-19, Bermuda would next go down to Hang Man 26-24, 25-21.
In their play-off match Bermuda went down in three setter to Mully’s Magnum. Bermuda won the first set 25-15, but Mully’s Mugnum would win the next two sets 25-18, 15-10.
