Alex Prugh's Bogey-free 67 at El Bosque Golf Club has him in the Mexico Championship. Michael Sims completed his Second Round 1-under par 71 finishing T56th.
Sims started out on the Front Nine with a Par on the par 5 first, before recording a Birdie on the par 4 second, Sims then had a Bogey on the par 3 third to move back to Even Par, he then had back to back Pars before another Bogey on the par 4 sixth. Sims closed out his first nine with three Par’s to make the turn at 1-over par.
On the Back Nine, Sims started out with a Birdie on the 10th, which was followed by a Bogey on the 11th and then he had a Birdie on the par 3 twelfth to move to Even Par. Sims then ran off five consecutive Pars before closing out his round with a Birdie to finish at 1-under par.
