Zack Miller is one of four players tied for the lead at 9 under after the first round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am.
One-third of the field will play at each course the Thornblade Club (Greer, SC), Greenville Country Club’s Chanticleer course (Greenville, SC) and The Reserve at Lake Keowee (Sunset, SC), before the final round is played on Sunday, May 19 at Thornblade Club.
Miller will start his second round tied with Hudson Swafford, Mark Anderson and Franklin Corpening.
Michael Sims ended the day T34th having played on the Thornblade Club Course.
Sims started off with a bang shooting back to back Birdies on the par 4 first and par 5 second, Sims then had back to back Pars before running off three consecutive Birdies to move to 5-under par through seven holes. Sims finished off the Front Nine with back to back Pars.
On the back nine Sims started off with a Par, which was followed by a Birdie to move to 6-under, Sims recorded his first Bogey of the day on the par 4 twelfth, Sims then had a Par on the thirteenth and another Bogey on the par 4 fourteenth, to move to 4-under par. Sims concluded his round with four consecutive Pars to close out his round at 4-under par.
