Jordan Smith who plays cricket for Bromsgrove School Under 14A team played against Werckin College recently. Captain James Kinder of Bromsgrove School Under 14A team won the toss and elected to bat.
Bromsgrove opened the batting with Smith batting at number 1 and Captain Kinder batting at number 2, Bromsgrove ended up with a score of 225 for 6 in their allotted 35 overs. Werkin College ended up scoring 100 for 9 in the allotted 35 overs.
Smith was the top scorer, scoring 100 not out, which was his first century. James Kinder was the pick of bowling for Bromsgrove School his figures were 6-0-16-3.
Smith was then selected to play with Bromsgrove School 1st XL team in a 20/20 match, Smith didn't get to bat but had bowling figures 1-0-3-1.
Bromsgrove 1st XI scored 153 for 5 in their 20 overs, then bowled Wycliff School all out for 80 in 19 overs.
