The 2nd Annual Triangular Football Fund Raising Match took place at the Bernard Park, with the tournament this year held to assist Mark Jennings with his medical expenses.
North Village Rams Corona 3 Hamilton Parish 3
The first game of the day saw Keith Jennings, Tillman Darrell and Cal Blankendal all score one goal each for the North Village Rams Corona team, while Corey Hill, Shaun Dill and Clevon Hill all found the back of the net for Hamilton Parish.
Clevon Hill’s goal came in the final minute when he intercepted a pass and beat an advancing goalkeeper to send the game to kicks from the penalty mark, which Hamilton Parish won 4-2.
North Village Rams Masters 2 Devonshire Cougars Masters 3
The Devonshire Cougars Masters got goals from Hunte Deshields, Dwayne Bean and Preston Mallory as they defeated the North Village Rams Masters 3 – 2. Carlos Greaves and Allen Smith scored a goal each for the North Village Rams Masters.
Taurean Manders
Taurean Manders and his Antigua Barracuda FC teammates went down 4 – 0 at the Harrisburg City Islanders.
Morgan Langley gave the Harrisburg City Islanders the dream start scoring in the 1st minute. Sainey Touray doubled the Harrisburg City Islanders lead two minutes later.
Touray scored his second goal of the game in the 68th minute, this was three minutes after Antigua was reduced to 10 men after Lawson Robinson was sent off, Leo Fernandes made it 4-0 to the Harrisburg City Islanders in the 88th minute.
