Shannon Lawrence and Nicole Mitchell competed in the 2013 Silver City Tour of the Gila after three Long Stages of racing in the mountainous terrain around Silver City, New Mexico.
During the First Stage Silver City to Mogollon Road Race, Mitchell crossed the line 48th in a time of 3:32:20, she then completed the Inner Loop Road Race in 54th place clocking a time of 7:42:36 and then in the third stage Dan Potts Memorial Tyrone Time Trial, Mitchell finished 55th with a time of 51:03.06.
Clocking a time of 4:40:03 Lawrence finished 73rd in the Silver City to Mogollon Road Race First Stage, The Inner Loop Road Race Stage Two saw Lawrence finish 74th clocking 4:00:34 and then in the Dan Potts Memorial Tyrone Time Trial Final Stage Lawrence finished 69th with a time of 44:13.59.
