Lionel Cann finished as the highest Run getter for Bermuda during the recently concluded ICC World League Division 3 Tournament.
Cann scored a total of 157 thanks to a knock of 113 against Italy at the Somerset Cricket Club. David Hemp scored 129, Hemp’s highest knock was 45 that came in the game against the United States of America at Lord’s in St. David’s. Chris Douglas scored a total of 122 runs and the only other batsman to score more than 100 runs was Janeiro Tucker with 108 runs.
Cann had the best average of 39.25, Tre Manders had an average of 31.66, while Douglas had an average of 30.5, Tucker had an average of 21.6 and Hemp’s average for the tournament was 21.5.
Malachi Jones captured the most wickets for Bermuda with 10 wickets, Rodney Trott grabbed 8 wickets, Dion Stovell grabbed 6 wickets, while Janeiro Tucker and Jacobi Robinson both grabbed 5 wickets each.
Trott had the best Economy Rate of 3.9, while Delray Rawlins had a rate of 4.3, Tucker’s rate of 4.32 was third best, while Treadwell Gibbons’ had a rate of 4.55 and Dion Stovell’s rate of 4.76 was the fourth best for Bermuda.
Janeiro Tucker took a total of 6 catches in the Tournament for Bermuda, which was the second best for the tournament, while Lionel Cann and Treadwell Gibbons took 3 catches each. Wicketkeeper Jason Anderson took 4 catches and a stumping, while Chris Douglas grabbed three catches each.
