Roy Allen Burch continues to work on his trade as he competed in the 50m Freestyle trying out a new stroke.
Racing next to Cullen Jones, Burch clocked a time of 24.00 swimming in lane 5.
Burch said, “The stroke is coming along nicely and the coaches are happy with it so far. They have some plans to make some things better.”
Burch continued, “My coach said I will need to reduce my dryland and just maintain strength as pound for pound I'm stronger than last year and I'm depleting my glucose systems too often and need more recovery.”
Burch concluded, “It is time to spend much more time transferring my land strength to the water.”
