Bermuda National Athletics Association Technical Director Troy Douglas is chomping at the bit to get his athletes and coaches in gear for their next international competition.
Douglas commented, “Carifta was a step to where we want to go for the remainder of the year, we have the CAC Youth Championships, plus other events overseas.”
Douglas did throw out a challenge to those in the running community to come out and take part in the National Championships, “I would like to see those people that I see each and every evening training on the road, to put themselves to the test on the Track, you can enter the 800, 1,500, 3000, 5,000 and 10,000 meter races.”
