 Haley Powell IslandStats.com The 2013 Bermuda International Invitational Race Week continued with racing in the Great Sound.
Etchells Fleet
Racing concluded in the Etchells Fleet with Bermuda’s Will Thompson winning two of the day’s three races finishing on top of the standings with 22 points, Mark Watson III finished in second with 24 points and Tim Patton finished in third with 28 points.
J105 Fleet
James MacDonald won two of the three rces sailed on the day to win the J-105 Fleet with 17 points, while Trevor Boyce/Michael Nash finished second 19 points and Chuck Millican finished third on 20 points.
IOD Fleet
Giles Peckham leads the IOD Vrengen Gold Cup Class with 19 points, while Jan Petter Roed of Norway, currently stands in second place with 31 points and Dan Faria has 34 points. Meanwhile Giles Peckham is leading the IOD B Fleet with 3 points, while Paul Manning is in second with 6 points and John Burnham and Peter Rugg are in third with 7 points.
Lasers Fleet
Sean Evans now leads the Laser Fleet with 13 points, while Malcolm Smith now sits in second place with 18 points and Brett Wright is in third with 28 points.

Haley Powell helped Roger Williams University to qualify for the ICSA National Semi-Finals, this after they finished 7th during the Women’s New England’s Championship that was won by Boston College.
Powell and her crew Breanne Baldino sailed the Roger Williams University A Division boat to a 9th place finish in the Division with 85 points.
Powell recorded 4 top six finishes out of the ten races sailed.
