A total of six records were broken during the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association’s Best of BEST Third Series Meet at the BASA Pool.
Madelyn Moore, Emma Harvey and Jesse Washington all set two new records.
Moore broke the 11-12 Girls 100m Freestyle with a new time of 1:00.84, breaking the old record of 1:01.96. She then broke the 11-12 Girls 50m Freestyle old time of 28.46, clocking 27.76.
Harvey set a new 11-12 Girls 100m IM record of 1:14.64, breaking the old record of 1:16.17, Harvey then set a new 11-12 Girls 200m IM record touching the wall in a time of 2:38.41 breaking the old record of 2:39.32.
Washington’s time of 54.27 during the 13-14 Men’s 100m Freestyle saw him break the previous record of 55.19 and then he took .02 of a second off the previous record 24.87 during the 13-14 Men’s 100m Freestyle.
