Former American Professional Women's Basketball player Lisa Leslie arrived at the LF Wade International Airport and was to be met by the media, who yet again proved Women in Sports are disrespected as not one print media outlet showed up after being invited by the organizers.
Leslie is a three-time WNBA MVP and a four-time Olympic Gold Medal winner and is looking forward to delivering her life experiences with those who attend the Women in Sports Expo Banquet on Friday Night at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
The number seven pick in the 1997 inaugural WNBA draft said, “I just want to tell my story and I hope it inspires others, the struggles of being an athlete a Woman and a mother is something that is indeed a challenge and I believe I was given a gift to speak about my life to help others understand that nothing is impossible.”
