Tyler Smith took part in the Costa Rica Bowl Open, which is an International Tennis Federation Junior Event.
Smith took part in the Doubles where she partnered Jeung Won Yang from Korea, they defeated D Edwards from the United States and K Swan from Great Britain in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the Quarter Finals.
In their Quarter-Final match Smith and Yang went down in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 to Danielle Spielmann from Sweden and Claudia Wiktorin from the United States.
