Lincoln Memorial Men’s Tennis team rallied from a 2-1 doubles deficit to take a 5-4 victory over Neal Towlson and his number 42nd ranked Wingate University Men’s Tennis teammates in the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship match at the Rock Hill Tennis Center.
Philipp Hoffmann and Alexey Minevskiy earned the lone point for Lincoln Memorial in doubles play, as they defeated Towlson and Roberto Hennis, 8-2, at the top doubles flight.
Lincoln Memorial junior Will Sparks edged Wingate sophomore Towlson 6-4, 6-3 at the number two Singles spot.
