Stage 2 of the Bermuda Grand Prix was held with the start and finish at Clearwater Beach on Southside.

The Men's A Race was won by Canadian visitor James Cameron riding for Pro City Racing, second was Neil de Ste Croix riding for Fast Forward Bicycle Works and Madison rider Adam Harbutt finished third. The three had established a break as early as the second lap of the 65km race, and finished just under 3 minutes ahead of the chasing field.

A crash in a chase group on the first lap effectively ended the challenge for several riders including Shannon Lawrence who had to withdraw and Mark Hatherley from Winners Edge, who was able to remount and continue. Dominique Mayho riding for team Madison with his team mate in the lead breakaway, sat in the chase group and is effectively out of contention for the overall General Classification result.

Lawrence speaking following the race said, “It was unavoidable, the bike in front of me went down and I had nowhere to go, I went to the hospital and they confirmed nothing was broken and I am planning to line up tomorrow.”

The Men's B Race covered 50km with the pack staying together and produced a bunch sprint finish with over twenty riders in contention. Tokio's Daniel Degiogio edged Daren Dowling from Crimestoppers at the line, with Brian Steinhoff, riding his first road race of the season, taking third.

The Women Races over a 35km course, which was won by Canadian Sylvia Storry from Pro City Racing who was able to pull away from Winners Edge rider Karen Smith and Belinda Castree from Fast Forward Bicycle Works coming down the home straight.

In the Junior Division, Matthew Oliveira won the 13-16 Boys race over his Winners Edge teammate Tyler Smith, both finishing a couple of minutes ahead of Zion Dowling from Crimestoppers.

In the 13-16 Girls race, it was Victoria Davis riding for Winners Edge who finished first, Tristan Narraway from Tokio finished in second and Jessie Godfrey from Winners Edge finished in third.

The 12 and Under Junior field raced around the motorsport park. The girls race was won by Julianne Oatley from Fast Forward Bicycle Works with Winners Edge rider Megan Hands second.
