Today is the day where we have 6 schools joined together to form the Bermuda Under 16 National Team as students from The Berkeley Institute, Bermuda Institute, Saltus, CedarBridge Academy, Warwick Academy, T.N. Tatum departed Bermuda heading to Canada.
Coach Devrae-Noel Simmons said, “Coach Patrick and I are impressed that over the last 6 months these young players have bonded despite being from different backgrounds and societies to make up this team. The training has been hard but the camaraderie awesome! I feel that this can easily set the tone to break any barriers that may be holding us as Bermudians back.”
“We know that Trinity College will not be easy, but these boys are fully committed to the task ahead, and with games Friday and Saturday continue to remain positive with victory in sight,” continued Simmons.
Simmons concluded, "Bermuda, we are proud to represent our Country, families, schools and most importantly ourselves! We will fight hard to the very end and will leave all our aggressions on the field! We will hold our heads up high as warriors of the game, and continue to be ambassadors of the Sport!"
