Neal Towlson and his number 42nd ranked Wingate University Men’s Tennis teammates blanked Mars Hill College 5-0 in the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament quarter-finals at the Rock Hill Tennis Center.
Sophomore Towlson teamed with Roberto Hennis to defeat Mars Hill senior Lucas Simm and sophomore Euquerio Guerrero 9-7 in the number one doubles match.
Neal Towlson was leading Euquerio Guerrero 5 – 2 in the first set when play was called off due to the unassailable lead that Wingate had established.
