The Under 14 National Academy team played against Crew Jr from Ohio, going ahead early lead when Tahzeiko Harris scored, the lead was doubled with a goal from Aaron Burgess. In the Second half Crew Jr from Ohio pulled level with two quick goals, but Bermuda got what proved to be the winner from Jahzardae Samuels.
Bermuda had to await the outcome of an evening match between Vestavia Hills and Crew Jr. to find out if they had advanced to the Semi-Finals, as they and Vestavia Hills went into their last matches tied on points. Vestavia Hills defeated Crews Jr. 4-1 in their final match which ultimately placed them into the Semif-Finals ahead of Bermuda on goal difference.
The Bermuda Under 14 team will play a consolation match against GAS from Atlanta.
The Under 16 National Academy team played their second game against BRSC. They came out victorious with a 2-0 win. Goals were scored by Cameron Neal and TeVahn Tyrell converted from the penalty spot to seal their position in the Semi-Final match as well as finish #1seed in their Division.
Bermuda’s Under 16 Semi-Final match will be played against Mississippi Fire.
