Nahki Wells
Sam Togwell kept Chesterfield’s faint play-off hopes alive with an injury-time equalizer against Nahki Wells and his Bradford City teammates.
Chesterfield twice came from behind after Wells and Ricky Ravenhill scored either side of Tendayi Darikwa’s strike to rescue a point.
Early in the match Bradford’s Wells had his head in his hands when he scooped one well clear of Lee’s crossbar after a lucky break of the ball in the box.
In the 36th minute, a long throw into the box found its way to Wells who controlled neatly on his chest and volleyed the ball low past Lee into the bottom corner from ten yards.
Bradford replaced Kyle Reid with Will Atkinson at the break as they looked to extend their lead. Wells almost obliged when he turned Trotman and raced towards goal but I fine covering block from Liam Cooper kept Chesterfield’s hopes alive.
Antwan Russell
Antwan Russell’s Ilkeston’s manager Kevin Wilson has threatened to "play the kids" in the Derbyshire Senior Cup Final after feeling badly let down at Kendal this afternoon.
As in last month's trip to Blyth Spartans, Ilkeston FC lost 3-2 when a last minute penalty proved decisive and the manager was scathing in his criticism of senior players, who he accused of failing to prepare properly and not doing their jobs.
Wilson said, "I know we have had a really tough schedule of matches over the past couple of weeks but that was no excuse for the way we played. Our attitude and application was not right. We lacked any sort of leadership and no one was prepared to take any responsibility.
