The Bermuda Under 19’s recently kicked off their preparations for the upcoming Caribbean Championships in July with the first of a two game series against visiting Boston.
A strong pack from Boston, coupled with some hard straight running and some excellent counter rucking meant Bermuda Under 19s held out with some excellent defensive tackling and limited Boston to only penalties.
Some assured kicking from the Boston fullback, Kennedy meant Boston took the points for the weekend. Bermuda had a strong showing especially in the scrum with Simon Thompson, Pernell Brangman and Trae Stephens putting in a great shift.
Ultimately Bermuda came up short. However as a new side playing together for the first time, they can be proud to have put up such a stern test to a well drilled Boston team.
