The Bermuda Cricket Board confirmed that Delray Rawlins will be joining the squad tonight to participate in the 50 over matches against USA this week.
The Bermuda Cricket Board has worked with his school and parents to enable Rawlins to compete for a place in the upcoming World Cricket League Division 3 in Bermuda.
Immediately after the 50 over fixtures against USA Rawlins, two other overseas players Greg Maybury and Tre Manders will return to Bermuda until May 6th to be available for World Cricket League Division 3 if selected.
Bermuda Cricket Board President Lloyd Fray said, "We are very grateful for the flexibility and commitment that Rawlins’ school and family have provided to allow Rawlins an opportunity to compete for a place in this crucial tournament. The Bermuda Cricket Board always considers education is the primary concern when approaching young players and we have been provided with full assurance that his studying will be not compromised by this chance to represent our country."
The squad will be submitted to the ICC by midnight March 28th, the Bermuda Cricket Board expects that the ICC will make the official announcements of players and officials shortly after that.
