In their final game of the of the ICC Americas Division One Twenty20 Tournament in Florida, Bermuda went down by 5 wickets to Suriname.
Bermuda batted first and scored 144/4 in their allotted 20 overs, both Tre Manders and David Hemp scored 51, Hemp was not out, Janeiro Tucker chipped in with 21, Malachi Jones opened the batting and went cheap scoring only 4, while Dennico Hollis playing in his first match of the tournament was out without scoring, Sauid Drepaul was Suriname’s top bowler with figures of 4-0-37-3.
In reply Suriname scored 148/5 with two balls to spare, Drepaul was Suriname’s top batsman with 42, while Troy Dudnath added 27. Tucker returned figures of 4-0-27-2, Jones, Dion Stovell and captain Stephen Outerbridge all grabbed a wicket each.
